System Restore in Windows 7

Restore the system


To restore the system to an earlier date, follow these steps:
Click Start / All Programs / Accessories / System Tools / System Restore.
Make click on Next:

If the specified date, you want click Next.
Otherwise, select Choose a different restore point and click Next.
Select a date on the list, then click Next.
Click Finish.
System Restore should start.
In the end, your PC will reboot to continue the recovery. You will has notified by the end of the restoration.
If you get an error message after rebooting, we must try System Restore in Safe Mode.

Create a restore point


Windows 7 creates restore points on a regular basis, and every major installation.
However, it may be important to create a point manually before a questionable installation, or after disinfection.

If you want to create a restore point manually, follow these steps:
Click the Start Menu / Control Panel / System and Security / System.
Click the  System Protection.
A window opens:

Right-click on "Create" and OK.
Enter the point name (for example, before installing MSN) and click Create.
The restore point has created.
Click Close.

Click the Start Menu / Control Panel / System and Security / System.
Click in System Protection on the left of the window.
A window opens:

A panel opens:

Tick ​​the top box "Restore system settings and previous versions of files."
Click Apply and OK, System Restore, both automatic and manual, will be activated.
