Type of memory in my computer

Format and standard
Technology evolving/moving, the formats of the memories passed from the SDRAM, GDR, DDR2 with the DDR3. The format to be used is dictated by the mother chart, it is thus necessary to refer to it to know which type of memory you can use. The DDR2 still is very much used on the machines entered and average of range whereas the DDR3 is now quite present on the top-of-the-range computers.
